Call for papers
The enduring lessons from the ongoing global financial crisis, which has morphed into a global economic crisis, are not yet apparent. Despite many claims that we may be seeing some “green shoots” of economic recovery, most people believe that the crisis is far from over.
Some economists are being aware of origin of the crisis as a nature of capitalism. Muslims nation have been pinched between American and European crisis, facing a more complex unsolved problems related to poverty, unsecure food supply, political turmoil, non-sustainable development, corruption and terrorism. Fortunately, with their unique worldview, Muslims nation has been granted with Islamic economics system, called sharia economy, which may promote not only economic recovery but also wealth of Muslims nation.
We seek proposals that examine the relevance of sharia economics in the turbulence of global economy. We look forward to offering a forum for innovative and problem-solving-based presentations that explore the failure of recent economics system and the bright future of sharia economics.

We invite broad and innovative papers from researchers and students from any countries including Indonesia, in disciplines such as economy, finance, management and policy, sustainable development, government studies, theology, history, technology, natural resources management, or education as well as practitioners, social activist, and scholars.
